- Provide technical support for customers and contractors regarding installations and filling procedures.
- Assist design engineers on bid specs and installation designs for ENVIROTUBES.

1986-1996 - Innovated Material Systems (IMS)
Co-founder and Vice President
- Designed sludge pumps, flood control pumps, sewage bypass systems, sediment removal, and environmental cleanup dredges.
- Designed and built the original IMS 4010, one of the most numerous sludge dredges in the world, and still used as a standard of performance.
- Designed and build sewage digester and other sludge pumping systems.
- Designed and built bypass and flood control pumping systems from 500 gpm to 30,000 gpm.
- Responsible for in-field training and troubleshooting.
- Presented training seminars for engineers, contractors service personnel and operators, domestic and overseas.
1975-1986 - H&H Pump Company (Hydraulic and Heavy Equipment Co.)
President and Vice President
- Designed and installed fluid power (hydraulic) systems for OEM and custom heavy equipment.
- Built prototype equipment for OEM (original equipment manufacturers), including vacuum trucks, pole service trucks, pumping and dredging equipment.
- Manufactured a line of pumps for flood control, irrigation, high volume sludge pumping, mine and pit dewatering (up to 36,000 gpm), as well as pumps for animal waste and municipal sludge.
- Designed, patented, and manufactured a complete through-the-ice aeration system. This was the only system approved by the State of MN and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife for preventing winter fish kill.
- Designed and built sewerage bypass and digester emptying systems, using H&H hydraulic powered submersed pumps.
- Designed and built sludge dredging equipment.
1962-1975 - EPASCO (Equipment Parts and Service Company)
Co-founder, Vice President, and President
- Sales and service company for fluid power hydraulic components.
- EPASCO had a large shop and service department to repair and customize hydraulic powered equipment, as well as a complete sales department for the distribution of hydraulic power components.
1958-1962 - Field Service, equipment operator, and demonstrator for various contractors and equipment dealers in Minneapolis, St. Paul, Minnesota and the Chicago area.

- Charter member and past president of the Fluid Power Society Chapter 5 in Minneapolis, MN.
- Taught fluid power design and function and fluid power maintenance and testing at St. Paul VOTECH school for 9 years (evening courses).
- Created text books and courses for the above subjects.
- Presented seminars for the U. S. Forest Service to logging contractors and paper mills.
- Presented seminars for the University of Minnesota and the University of Wisconsin to VOTECH (vocational technical school) teachers.
- Worked and set up jobs in 27 countries, including the United States.
- Hold several patents.
- Build and raced a sailboat on Lake Superior.
